Insurance

Most insurance plans have a $40 - $60 copay.  With our affordable rates, many people prefer us over insurance. 

If acupuncture is covered by your insurance, we can give you a receipt to submit for reimbursement.  We do not bill insurance providers at this time, BUT its in the works!

Payment is required at the time of service. 

First Time Visit

• We will privately discuss your health situation, goals, and an individualized treatment plan.

•We use extremely thin needles (slightly thicker than a strand of hair) are placed just below the skin.  There is very little sensation from the needles, unlike a normal injection. The needles are sterile.

•The needles are often not placed at the location of your pain.  For instance, we treat back and neck pain using acupuncture points in your hands, lower legs, and feet.

• Please plan to rest for at least 30 minutes with the needles. Many people experience deep relaxation during and after treatment.  Acupuncture has additional benefits such as improved mood, energy, sleep, and mental clarity.

Please call us before the appointment if you have had fever, chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste/smell, unusual muscle aches, or unusual headaches in the last 10 days.
